Should I become a pediatrician or a engineer?

I am so confused! I don't know what to do! There are good and bad things about both careers. My parents want me to become an engineer because it is so much easier. I am a girl. I want to become an engineer because it is less money to pay and less years. I want to become a pediatrician because I am obsessed with babies...literally. I have no idea what to do.
