I need help on getting over a guy. any advise?

We aren't friends, but i can tell that i like him. in fact, its more than like. no matter what i do i can't get him out of my head. my friends say i'm obsessed, but i'm not. i'm in love with him. the problem is he doesn't like me. he told me so. and i don't want to waste any more time on him. i just don't know how to get over him, and i need help on how.
