My crush said that he broke up with his girlfriend?

My crush said he broke up with his girlfriend, and the next two days we talk and we talk like we love each other! Than the next day, he doesn't text me at all, so, I get his friend to text him and he says hey to him but not me! Than he sends me a text saying, "Heey and ive been busy and im abt to b with my girlfriendd ill text u at nine. byee babe:)" I started to get really sad. Why would he say this? What do I do?
