How to add home videos onto ipod touch 3rd generation?

heey there, so there's this video i have on my laptop that my best friend took from her ipod touch that she uploaded onto my laptop, that i would like to carry around on my ipod for a laugh. well, i only know how to upload music videos etc that was bought on itunes! how do i upload this video saved on my laptop to my ipod touch 3rd generation?
